Bringing visitors is half the job; the real question is how many become customers. Conversion rate measures it: visitors who take the target action divided by total visitors.
What counts as a conversion?
A phone call, form submission, booking, purchase, email sign-up. Each should be tracked separately; see measuring with Analytics and Search Console.
Ways to raise it
- A clear call: One prominent button such as “Get a quote” or “Book now”.
- Speed: A slow page loses visitors; see Core Web Vitals.
- Mobile comfort: The phone button on the first screen; see mobile-friendly design.
- Trust: References, real photos, contact details, reviews.
- A simple form: Remove unnecessary fields.
- A clear message: What you do and who you address on the first screen.
- Fit with ads: What the ad says should be visible at once on the landing page; see the Google Ads guide.
Try and measure
Change one thing at a time and watch the result; you can then tell what worked.
This approach is common to our web design and online marketing services. For local service sites see the example Naklix Nakliyat.
