Why Should We Have a Website?

Hello, As you know, we are living in the “age of communication,” and reaching both individuals and the masses is no longer as difficult as it used to be. With the spread of the “internet”—which has become an indispensable part of our lives—technology has developed in parallel, making our daily lives both easier and, in some ways, a bit more complicated. Of course, a number of new terms have also crept into our daily lives without us even noticing… “Hey, did you see my photo on Facebook?” “Didn’t you reply to my email?” or “I’ll message you on WhatsApp,” and so on. I’ll cover these topics in my future articles, but in this post, I’ll be discussing the importance of websites.

Websites are also categorized into different groups. Websites, which vary depending on the needs of individuals or organizations, are designed using different programming languages based on their purposes and functions, and are made available to visitors. If you’re a corporate company, you can explain your corporate identity, promote your company, present a much more polished image to your customers and prospects, and enhance your company’s prestige. Imagine having a showroom accessible from anywhere in the world—a website promises you even more than that. Open a showroom on every computer with an internet connection! If you’re a store owner, imagine having a store that’s open 24/7. Plus, it has no staff costs, can serve thousands of people at once, doesn’t require you to pay astronomical monthly rent, and has no withholding tax… Who wouldn’t want to be a widely read author? Why not publish through a blog and multiply your readership by hundreds? Imagine the expenses of publishing companies that publish their content through a website: no paper costs, no printing costs, no personnel costs, no shipping costs, and—most importantly—billions of trees saved because there’s no printed paper. Why not minimize your catalog costs to save money and reach your customer base at the speed of light? That’s where our digital catalog service comes in.

The other side of this, of course, is the consumer perspective. Even if you just want to buy a phone, instead of getting up and going to a phone store, you can read reviews and compare options on websites; since the seller’s costs are lower, you can naturally get the product you want at a lower price—and even pay in installments. We no longer need to flip through the pages of encyclopedias—which take up a considerable amount of space in our homes—just to find information. We can access the information we’re looking for in seconds, even with the phone in our pocket. And it’s all supported by images and videos. For example, do you know what “Endophobia” is? Hold on—let me tell you before you Google it: It’s the fear of clothing. (I just learned that from Wikipedia.) That’s how simple it is to access information.

Getting back to our main topic: Why should we have a website? To secure our place in the world of communication, to represent ourselves or our company, and—most importantly—to share…
